Looking up at the clear sky,
I got immersed
In the endless galaxies of countless stars
Mesmerized I fell,
Into a trance
Deeper than the ocean.
In a parallel universe,
They took me back to the beginning of time,
When their sight
Was the only source of light,
In the darkness
Of this dull world.
But the stars, they slowly disappear,
Taking the light with them,
Like a departing lover
Leaving my world cold as ice
Lamenting I always wondered why it haunted me,
Until I knew, they reminded me of your eyes.
